TETEA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the United States. It was founded by a group of returned Peace Corps Volunteers all of whom had taught in secondary schools in Tanzania. In an effort to continue our work after our return, we decided to start a nonprofit to help improve access to education in the rural south-west region of Ruvuma, Tanzania.
TETEA has helped to sponsor many students in their secondary education, but the we felt that the impact we were having was too restricted to a small group of students. In an effort to provide something that would benefit all students in Tanzania, we created this site.
This site is meant to be a resource for all students in Tanzania as well as their teachers. It is going to be a growing repository of educational materials, with new exams and other content added as they become available.
